KFC fans can still get their fix of the Colonel’s chicken after the fast food chain reopened 15 restaurants for takeaways.

Here we reveal where you can order KFC, and if more branches will open.

KFC has now reopened 15 restaurants for takeaway orders

Which KFC branches are open for delivery?

KFC started reopening restaurants for delivery orders only on April 14.

The fried chicken chain started off by reopening 11 branches, and has now expanded to 15.

The following restaurants are open for takeaways:

  • Heaton Chapel
  • Tamworth
  • New Oscott
  • Manchester Hulme
  • Manchester Deansgate
  • Portsmouth
  • Aldershot
  • Ipswich Cardinal Park
  • Glasgow Pollokshaws Road
  • Glasgow Great Western Retail Park
  • Enfield Coliseum Retail Park
  • Bentley Bridge
  • Great Bridge
  • Romford Gallows
  • Bury

Hungry customers can order from these branches via Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.

Each of these food ordering apps will have their own delivery fees, so remember to check this before completing your order.

You can’t order directly from the KFC website, or in-person at these restaurants.

In addition, KFC has also pledged to dish out free meals for NHS staff and other key workers.

It plans to provide 100 free meals from each open restaurant every Tuesday to those on the frontline.

Deliveries will be made directly to hospitals, care homes and supermarkets with orders of 50-plus being prioritised.

If you’re responsible for a team of key workers, you can email heretodeliver@deliveroo.co.uk for the next steps.

Which fast food chains and cafes have reopened?

THE following chains are open for delivery or takeaway orders only.

  • Burger King
  • KFC
  • Pret a Manger

Can I order from the full menu at these stores?

KFC is running a limited menu to help keep workers safe, so not all options are available.

The reduced menu also reflects the fact that less staff are working at one time, due to social distancing measures.

Workers are being kept apart with designated two metre zones inside restaurants, marked by tape on the floor.

KFC said: “We’re serving a limited menu because we’re running our kitchen with a smaller team than usual, so social distancing can be followed.”

When The Sun checked online using Deliveroo this afternoon, KFC had single sandwiches, smaller meal boxes and larger bucket options available.

Of the smaller offerings, KFC fans can order a single fillet burger, priced at £5.09 at the Manchester Hulme branch, or go full out on a 14-piece bargain bucket for £22.99.

Will more KFC branches reopen?

KFC will eventually reopen all its restaurants, but it hasn’t said when.

It previously told The Sun it could reopen more over the next few weeks if it can do so “responsibly”.

You can keep an eye on store updates on the KFC website.

KFC has more than 900 branches in the UK and employs around 24,000 members of staff.
